I truly believe that The Vistas provides topnotch care for the residents. Not only is it spacious, neat, and clean, but it is warm and welcoming. The staff goes above and beyond expectations, giving it a loving family feel. They don’t settle for a minimum standard of care, but consider each resident’s needs and provide special touches for the individuals.

I love the fact that they call me with any concerns and seem to be aware of what is going on at all times. They provide a plethora of interesting activities and entertainment to engage the residents. I think I would have to say that what I love the most is the atmosphere and how it affects the staff and therefore the residents In Memory Care. I am delighted to see children and grandchildren come in to visit with the residents their parents or grandparents at work. I feel my mom is always looked out for and she is never alone. Anytime I call, whoever answers the phone seems to always know where my mom is and is helpful. One time a staff member gave me her email address so I could send photos of Adrienne’s grandson right to the lobby computer! That was wonderful. What my husband and I love most about the Vistas is the wonderful care your staff is to all of your residents. You can walk into your facility at any given time of the day or night and find a clean and wholesome place for residents to reside in. You can feel the love that your care givers give to each and every resident. Our mother/mother-in-law resides in the Memory Care section of your facility and we couldn't ask for a better home environment. They are clean, sweet, attentive and loving to each and everyone. We also love the fact that if anything small like a little cut happens to a resident they are on the phone to let you know. My parents were among the first residents at The Vistas, and it has been a very good fit for our family. Mother needed the extra care and services provided by Memory Care; Dad was able to function quite independently, but could not provide the care she needed. So she was downstairs, and he was upstairs. Until Mother passed away last year, they had lunch together every day. It was a great comfort to them (and to their daughters) that they could share daily life under one roof. The empathy of the Vistas community certainly eased the loss when Mother died. Dad is glad to be living there in the company of friends, many of whom have also experienced the loss of a spouse. The Vistas continues to feel like home, to Dad and his extended family. The Vistas staff are friendly, sympathetic, respectful, and totally focused on the residents and their needs. Peace of mind, safety, nurturing those are my thoughts when I contemplate the Vistas. I needed the memory care unit and assisted living for my aunt and uncle. When my uncle passed my aunt was so distraught but she had her beloved Dixie dog. The staff has been so gracious in helping my aunt with Dixie. My father has lived at the Vistas for over a year. I recently visited him and saw the Vistas for the first time. The rooms, dining room and common rooms are cheerful and filled with light. The grounds are gorgeous! I was impressed with the staff. They are compassionate, caring, and dedicated to creating a healthy, beautiful home for my dad. The food was amazing! What can I say? I don’t know how you do it, but every one of the staff seem to look on their duties as much more than just a job. I have observed the young lady whose job description is simply to clean Ms. Paul’s apartment help her find things she has lost , and help her get dressed when she is having trouble. This is just an example of what is true for the entire staff. Compassionate, caring, understanding, patient, friendly, cheerful even loving are words that come to mind. The Vistas has provided a safe and caring environment for my 92 year old father. The modern and well maintained facility is very welcoming to the residents as well as their families. In addition to making doctors’ appointments and then transporting him, The Vistas maintains excellent communication with family. There have been times that I have visited, only to find that a staff member was in his apartment visiting him. He thought the world of those who attended to his needs. Our family’s peace of mind continued to grow as we observed the loving care, dignity and professionalism that was afforded him. – Bill E.

What I love most about the Vistas is the caregivers. All of the RA’s are efficient, prompt, skilled and patient with clients needs. But most of all they are cheerful, upbeat, attentive, sympathetic, and non judgmental. Re: the client’s condition, not even the manner/attitude of the individual client.
