Assisted Living

Our Assisted Living monthly fees are comprised of a minimum "Base Rate", with additional service levels and select special services available on an á la carte basis - at an additional cost. The Base Rate includes a wide range of services designed to accommodate the general day-to-day needs of most residents.

Basic Services include

• Three delicious meals daily, including a variety of Heart Healthy menus

• Weekly linen & towel laundering service
• Scheduled local transportation
• Daily social and recreational programs coordinated by our Life Enrichment Team

• 24-hour emergency response/call system w/wireless personal pendant
• Trained resident assistants on staff, 24 hours daily
• Maintenance & repairs to apartment, building & grounds

Sitting down to a meal at The Vistas, you will be delighted to dine on healthy and delicious food, prepared just the way you like it. We serve three nutritious meals and a choice of beverages daily in our elegant dining room. It is also a great time to catch up with friends. You may have guests join you in our private dining room for special gatherings too. Between meal snacks and beverages are always available. Menus are adjusted seasonally to meet the changing tastes of our residents throughout the year. If you have a special recipe or favorite dish, let us know, and we may add it to our menu choices.

Life Enrichment Program New Adventures & opportunities to learn
Our dynamic Life Enrichment program features new adventures, exciting opportunities to learn, fun with friends, and a variety of social, recreational and wellness activities. Each day at The Vistas is an opportunity for our residents to experience a wide variety of programs that encourage physical and mental activity and spiritual growth. With a daily schedule featuring a variety of activities, there is something for everyone. Residents can take part in our exercise program to stay fit, participate in bingo or trivia contests, or sit back and take in an afternoon movie.

Our Life Enrichment program also provides a strong volunteer program (including opportunities for our elders to volunteer). Each person is encouraged to expand horizons and participate in lifelong learning.

Personal Care Services Assistance when you need it
At the Vistas, we recognize each resident as an individual with unique needs and preferences. That is why we meet with the resident and family to conduct an assessment prior to move-in and at regular intervals after move-in to understand the resident's individual need for assistance and support.

This assessment helps us determine the appropriate care and service that preserves each resident's dignity while encouraging independence. The assessment results in determining a specific service level based on the amount of assistance provided.

Personal Care Services include:

• Medication assistance (including coordination between physician & pharmacy)
• Assistance ambulating
• Assistance with one-person transfers
• Assistance with personal activities such as:
  • Dressing
  • Personal hygiene (oral/denture care, shaving etc)
  • Showering
  • Toileting/Incontinence Program
• Select diabetic services
• Coordination with healthcare providers
• Reminders and/or escort to meals & life enrichment programs
• Dining assistance
• Personal laundry service
• Additional housekeeping services
• Daily bed making & bed turn-down service
