Lonnie Julius, Community Relations Coordinator

As the Community Relations Coordinator for The Vistas Assisted Living and Memory Care Community, Lonnie enjoys building relationships in the community and assisting new residents through the move-in process. Lonnie actively represents the Vistas through community projects and works side by side with Life Enrichment to bridge the Vistas family with the greater Redding Community. Her warm and fun personality makes everyone feel welcome. She embodies our mission of joy, independence and wellness.

Lonnie was introduced to assisted living in 2001, when she began working as the Activity Director for a local assisted living community. This is when Elders first captured her heart. After working with the company for two years, she decided to further her education by earning a Masters degree in Counseling/Psychology. This led her into the field of school-based counseling with at risk youth and Marriage and Family counseling.

Lonnie also worked as the Youth Leader and Ministry Coordinator at a local church for 5 years before joining the Vistas team.

Lonnie is the proud mother of a toddler. In her spare time, she enjoys all the nuances of motherhood along with spending time traveling. She has had the privilege of traveling to 12 countries and 17 states. Of the things she has experienced, Lonnie says that spending time with elders is one of her greatest joys.
